Board Meetings
- Thursdays - Third Thursday of every month
- Rewrite in Bylaws allowing Board appointed replacement after 3 absences of any type in a year
Board Positions
- No Event Coordinators Position
- Event Based Position selected once dates are set
- Check writing privileges or access to checks for Event Coordinator
- Secretary Position needs to be redefined -
- Board Financial Management discussion - Check card?... pre-written checks?
- IBC allows up to 5 independently tracked check cards against our account
- No At Large Position
- Board Position Websites - sections for each board member
- Trinity - UTSA Board Positions hold much potential, invite Kyle?
- Update bylaws with new positions
New Possible Board Structure
- Realign Board positions with more autonomy/authority
- Each position has complete autonomy in their domain and a budget that they are allowed to use without Board Approval once the budget is approved
- President - Calls and presides over Board Meetings, maintains accountability
- Vice-President - Absolute authority over all things Society Lesson/Social related
- Treasurer - Maintains budget and accountability on financials, check writing, reporting
- Secretary/Membership - Membership cards, Membership perspective (versus Organization perspective)
- Marketing Director - controls Marketing, website, college positions, and emails
- Board members can assign people to do duties and offer incentives for it to be done, but will ultimately be responsible for it getting done

- Create sections in the sandbox for each officer to update information they've collected from doing their job

- Advertise at every lesson

- Bylaws require an annual meeting open to the membership to give the state of the organization... kind of a state of the union address
